There is a spider on my ceiling.
I noticed it as I went to bed.
I turned off the light.
Then I looked at my ceiling
and there it was.
Just crawling across my ceiling.
It was close to eleven o'clock
when I noticed
After the bad day,
the spider made me think.
It was so content with just crawling across my ceiling, trying to find a place to stay.
I couldn't kill it.
I wonder if that spider is still on my ceiling.
